Getting to know Jacquie Kittson
Creative Director & Founder
Based on the Sunshine Coast and living in the heart of Maroochydore, Jacquie is known for her refined eye for design and her ability to transform a space with style, ease and warmth. Rather than styling every home the same way, Jacquie believes each property should be styled to suit its own character, architecture and the feeling it creates. This thoughtful, tailored approach is what sets both Jacquie and Serenity Homestyling apart, ensuring every home feels authentic and uniquely considered.
In 2022, Jacquie launched Serenity Homestyling as a passion project, combining her love of interiors with a genuine desire to help people achieve the very best outcome when selling their home. What began as a one woman business quickly grew into a thriving company built on referrals, repeat clients and a passion for helping people. Since then, Serenity has welcomed a growing team, built its own fleet of trucks and vehicles, and recently relocated into a new warehouse almost double the size after outgrowing its original space.
Jacquie believes styling is about more than simply filling a home with beautiful furniture. It's about understanding the property, creating an emotional connection and presenting each home in a way that allows buyers to instantly imagine themselves living there. Clients are drawn not only to her eye for design, but to her genuine nature, attention to detail and ability to create spaces that simply feel right.

FAQ’s
-
We offer a range of styling options depending on your property and what you already have in the home. This includes Full Styling, Partial Styling, Integrated Styling and Furniture Purchase Packages. Our team can recommend the best option for your property following a consultation or discussion with you.
-
Our standard styling package includes an 8 week hire period, made up of 4 weeks paid hire plus an additional 4 weeks complimentary, unless otherwise arranged.
-
Every property is different, so we don't have a set price for styling. Pricing depends on factors such as the size of the home, the number of rooms being styled, the level of styling required and the location of the property. If you're interested in styling your home, simply request a quote and our team can provide an estimate based on your property.
-
Before installation, we ask that all surfaces are cleared and existing décor and wall art are removed unless otherwise advised. Every property is different, so our team will brief you on exactly what needs to be removed, kept or prepared during your consultation or via phone or email prior to installation.
-
Once your property has sold, simply let us know. We will arrange a suitable date and time with you or your agent to return and pack down the furniture, generally within two weeks of the property selling.
-
Yes. This is what we call Integrated Styling, where we work with selected existing pieces and introduce Serenity furniture, artwork and accessories to complete the home. Integrated styling is assessed on a case by case basis, as it may not be suitable for every property. Our team would be happy to meet with you and discuss whether this option will work for your home.
-
We don't offer clients the option to individually select furniture pieces. Our qualified stylists select each piece specifically for your home, taking into account the property, its features, layout and target market. This allows us to create a cohesive look designed to present your property at its best.
-
Yes. While we are based on the Sunshine Coast, we can service properties from the Gold Coast through to Hervey Bay. Travel outside our standard service area is assessed on a case by case basis and additional travel fees will apply.
-
Payment is required in full prior to installation, along with a signed copy of our Service Agreement. We also offer Elepay, a pay later option for eligible clients. If you'd like to explore this option, please contact our team and we can send you the details.
-
Unfortunately, we aren't able to move or store your existing furniture and belongings. However, we work with trusted local removalists and storage providers and would be happy to recommend someone to assist you before your styling installation.
-
We recommend getting in touch as early as possible, particularly during busy selling periods. Installation availability can fill quickly and contacting us early gives us the best opportunity to work around your preferred photography and campaign dates.
-
We actually prefer that the property is vacant during installation. Our team will be moving furniture and larger items throughout the home, so keeping the property clear allows us to work safely and efficiently while reducing the risk of injury. Access can be arranged with you or your agent beforehand, and once we're finished, you'll be ready for photography and your sales campaign.
